This smoothie is packed with antioxidants, including anthocyanins. These protect the cells against cell damage (a little damage is normal, too much is not good!). Açai is one of the largest sources of these antioxidants but other berries are also top sources! The turmeric and ginger in this recipe are welcome extras that you will not taste but are oh so healthy. Your body will thank you enormously!

  • Holy Berry -  Açai Berries100 g

  • Frozen or fresh berry mix 100 g

  • Frozen or fresh mango100 g

  • Freshly grated ginger
    1/2 tsp

  • Fresh turmeric (or 1/4 tsp turmeric powder) 
    1/2 tsp

  • Zest of orange2 tsp

  • Plant-based milk of choice

  • Pinch of pepper

  • Optional: apple cider vinegar
    1 tsp

How do you make it?

Step 1

Allow the frozen ingredients to defrost for a moment, otherwise it will be difficult to mix. Then combine all the ingredients in a blender or mix with a hand blender.

Step 2

Add milk until it is completely liquid.

You can replace the 100g Açai Berries with 1 Açai Pulp Pack of your choice. If you choose the pure Açai Pulp, you can add a tablespoon of natural sweetener such as agave, maple syrup...
