Açai and lime juice, are you kidding me?! No, not this time. It turns out to be a heavenly combination, at least for those who like a little “zing” in their dishes (and lives). Lime juice is packed with vitamin C which is not only hugely healthy but also ensures that the Açai bowl stays lighter in color for longer. In addition, banana is one of the greatest sources of potassium and vitamin B6 that helps the body recover after an intense sports session.
What do you need?
- 1 pack Holy Berry – Açai bowl mix Açai, Mango, Raspberries, frozen
- 1 banana, fresh and in slices
- Juice from 1/2 lime
- Splash of fresh orange juice
- Toppings: half a banana, nut paste of choice and granola
How do you make it?
Cut open the Açai Bowl mix bag and mix together with the fresh banana, the juice of ½ lime and the orange juice in a blender or with a hand blender. Add the orange juice a little at a time so your bowl doesn’t get too runny. Pour this preparation into a nice bowl and top with slices of banana, granola and a tablespoon (or 3) of nut spread.
